After posting Luke Cage last time I played around a little more with integrating a drawn character into a background. This particular scene I nabbed from...someone's blog I'm sure. Probably from Ipanema Beach guy. I don't think I really got the lighting right on my drawn in character but I like the end result. It's kind of like an adult Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
I hope you guys will indulge my adding a close up of the smoking guy. I just liked how his face and hands came out.Keeping summer alive as long as I can, I remain faithfully yours.

I like the 50's 'do. It gives him a context that's humorous as well as appealing.

Francois - I love the 50's. I was thinking of the old duck tale that guys would form in their hair. And the top is a rooster comb. Seen in the flesh I'm sure it's a ridiculous do! :)

Alden v - Thanks. These days I ink more with PITT pens but for this one I picked up a brush and dipped it in ink. Must have been feeling 'retro'. Inking with a proper brush always feels better!
