This here is a bit of Beefcake I saw on Tumblr and had to sketch out. I apologize sincerely for the lack of updates. I've been very busy with work and life stuff. I'll try to sketch and scan more as we fall into autumn (why is it already so cold?).
Today's post is brought to you by the letter B (for Beefcake, Bicep, and Buff) and the Model Julian Navarro

I think I prefer your sketch over the real dude...
I mentioned the same thing on the I Got Your Back guy. This guy has a very nice strong Zig Zag structure that blends with the dynamic diagonal parallel lines. But he seems a little too narcissistic to talk to. Oh well, to each their own :)
Alex - Ha! Thanks. If only I had magic paper where drawings come to life.
Javier - As I often say when I'm admiring a beautiful woman -- I want to draw them, not date them. :)
In this case it was exactly that zig zag pose that I wanted to capture in pencil. I suppose I don't think of the reference material as a real person when I'm drawing them.

Leave it to you to improve on the original, Bone. Sure there's the sensuous curve of Julian's physique as he flexes. But, there's also your forced perspective that puts his right gun with it's terrific tricep warhead right in our faces. You've also played up the detail of the waistband of his B.U.M. underwear showing above his low slung khakis. Making the viewer wish that the slacks would slip from the hipless wonder and reveal the quads of his undercarriage and the bulging package that must be concealed from sight. GREAT JOB! As usual, it makes me anxious to see what you'll do next!
