Cock of the Walk!

Summer is nearly here and I am THRILLED! Granted we here in Toronto have had an easy winter compared to, say, Washington DC and much of the Northern United States. With all of this warm weather, and my work being more or less complete, I've been spending a lot of time outdoors.
I've also been incredibly inspired lately and have a bunch of half finished beefcake drawings! I've got a terrible habit of doing partial drawings -- I get an idea for a drawing, sketch it out in between comic book pages or illustration gigs, and then I forget to go back and finish the drawing. Strangely the carefully coiffed gentleman above was drawn from start to finish all in one day. Today, as a matter of fact.

Oh, I in NO WAY endorse the smoking of cigarettes! This guy is a cartoon and being fictional he is not at risk of dying from any of the many cigarette related ailments that can strike you down and kill you!

sincerely,
j.bone

Ah welcome back. Hope to see the rest of the half finished guys... finished.

Fess Parker died today. :( Any chance of seeing a Davey Crockett memorial beefcake drawing. Coonskin cap? Buckskins?

Very funny, yet sexy, drawing Bone! The tight, red striped, cropped shirt stretched across his torso is terrefic. This stud better be careful or he's going to ignite all the product in his hair with that cigarette. You wouldn't think a guy that looks like this could be a flamer!

Javier - It's good to be back. I feel I've neglected my Blog for far too long (a terrible habit when I get too busy with work). Now that Spring is, sort of, here I want to draw men all day, every day.

I'll have to work on a Fess Parker. He's quite foxy in some of the photos I've found of him.

Lou W - Indeed. Yes, indeed!

Rockin Greaser - My pleasure. I've always had a thing for the Danny Zuko type ;)

Musclsvg - Ha ha! I meant to mention that the striped shirt was inspired by Gaultier ads that used to run of two sailors arm wrestling. The perfume bottle was a male torso with striped shirt.
The sooner he quits smoking the safer it will be for all of us!

Tony Vega - Many thanks, Mr. Vega. I'd love to be featured ;)
